Karl Lagerfeld and Theophilus London Collaboration

Artists Collaboration Alert! This time between an artist/fashion designer and a Brooklyn-based recording artist… That’s right, the one and only Karl Lagerfeld will art-direct and photograph the Theophilus London’s second full-length album.
The two know each other since Karl booked Theophilus for his book with Carine Roitfeld, “The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited,” which was released in 2012.

The album it’s called “Vibes”, its cover art will feature Karl’s handwriting, the music produced by Brodinski and Club Cheval and its launch it’s stated for October.

But to have a little taste of this artistic duo here’s the cover art for the first official single “Tribe” – available for purchase on iTunes on Tuesday – and featuring London in a Dior jacket making an obviously Michael Jackson inspired pose.
We can’t wait to see the rest of the creative imagery from this album.
