And so ends another fashion week in the Big Apple. Were presented dozens of fantastic collections, other medians between some weaker. But the balance is positive. In the second week were presented biggest “names” fashion in land of Uncle Sam. And most did not disappoint.
My favorite collections of the second week were without any doubt Monique Lhuillier and Naeem Khan. What woman does not love a fantastic dress. And both designers have a special talent to make them breathtaking. As for Naeem Khan, I was in love with appliques on the dresses, the way flowed in catwalk, cutting. The patterns, and how luxurious it seemed the entire collection. Yes because often there are collections that have exorbitant prices and yet not seem to in any way.
As for Monique Lhuillier, well, no need to say much. No disappointed and impressed. Is truth that does not leave a lot of “standards” that she created in recent years. Nor was it the innovative collection or you can say “I’ve never seen anything like it.” But he continues to know how adapt to all seasons with a fantastic quality, with looks very feminine but that favor women’s bodies. What is fantastic.
Because sometimes designers want to innovate too much and show something so new but make women’s bodies in boxes and forms are strangers in nothing favors the female body.
I also liked the collection of Nicole Miller, super fresh, super young, fun but sophisticated at the same time.
And although not big fan of the trend, she managed to overcome patterns without seeming too strange. I really liked it.
And finally, the wonderful Oscar de la Renta. I am passionate about almost all their collections and again really liked it.
I now leave some of the looks that passed the catwalk in New York that I liked. And you already know next Saturday “The best of London Fashion Week”
