New York Fashion Week – 1º Week Favorites

This week as the next ones. Will be different from “A tour into …” I have written so far.. Starting today and for every Saturday for four major fashion weeks (New York, London, Milan and Paris) will make a kind of “Best Of”, perhaps an analysis of certain collections. I’ll just write about and show that ones I enjoyed . About the “looks” that left me speechless.

I’m an “addict” in fashion weeks. Not only because of runway shows but because these weeks mark the launch of dozens of collections. And I always want to see them all.

Like almost all women passionate about fashion, I have a uncontrollable habit, when I’m watching a fashion show, or I see a new collection, as watching every look in my head i’m saying “yes, yes, yes … huum…no,no … uuhhh those shoes “and stuff like that.

Then enjoy analyzing each collection in other aspects, the inspiration, as were applied pantones the season. Identify key trends. The details. Compare with previous collections from the same designer. Makeup and hair. Literally spend hours analyzing the collections.

Then I will show what were my favorite collections presented during this first week of  New York  Fashion Week. My favorite looks, trends and details.

My favorite collection that was released during this first week. (Undecided) Was the Erin Fetherston. Loved. Very young, romantic, vintage-inspired. Not is an innovative collection or something like that.  Just loved. Here is the link of the complete collection that was published here in the magazine.

I’ll be adding that I’m loving the “back” of looks more masculine. For several years have been launched inspirations. But increasingly, the trend has been perfecting itself. And this year is the next “perfection.”

The floral prints, the transparencies, the Black and whites, the “negative spaces” and vintage inspiration are some trends that continue and I still love.

Tell me what were your favorite looks of the first week of NYFW on Facebook or Twitter.
