“We are infinite”
“The Perks of Being a Wallflower” begins immediately in a very magical way, the typing machine makes us cling to the screen even when the first image of the film was not seen.
Everything that happens in the film is treated in its own way, tells us of a time when teenagers still write letters, compile mixtapes and read real books. The teenage life is transmitted in a very tangible way, mainly by Logan Lerman and Emma Watson, who give us a very convincing scene of “first kiss.”
Chbosky can leave us emotionally attached to the film script with a superb soundtrack and performance of the actors. He succeeds that we feel the emotions that may have been forgotten as adults. Emotions that we all feel and we feel good because we passed it, as Charlie.
“The Perks of Being a Wallflower” is a must-see film for any film enthusiast, and really anyone who wants to see a movie where they can laugh, cry, and walk away from the film with hope for tomorrow.
