The Kings Of Summer – Why Live When You Can Rule?

“The Kings of Summer” can be confused with “Into the Wild”, tells the lives of three teenage friends, Joe, Patrick and Biaggio who, dissatisfied with the relashionship that they have with their parents and the lack of freedom that they impose to them, so they decided to go on an adventure that will radically change their lives forever. Eager to demonstrate that they can be men, head for the inside of a huge forest where they will put into practice Joe’s plans: build a wooden house and subsist only with goods that nature provides. On the other hand, their parents seek them unsuccessfully. These three kids, isolated from the civilization, put to the test not only their physical and mental abilities, but also their resistence to confront a new reality. They quickly realize that freedom also has limits and the loneliness is unbearable.

Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, and with Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso, Moises Arias, Nick Offerman on the lead roles here’s the trailer of a magnificent movie:
