Editor’s Manifesto 4 – The September Easy Way Out

Hello everybody, we are thrilled to come back after a little pause for vacations.

September is smiling to us, but for all of us (or not) it means the comeback to reality, school, work, daily routines , schedules and all the usual worries that full fill or day.
But like everything in life, we have our easy way out, it’s fashion baby!

September it’s the big month of fashion, for runways and editorials.
This month it’s full of events, like fashion weeks and the wild big night all over the great cities sponsored by our beloved Vogue magazine.

We start our monthly schedule with the big event on the apple city, that’s right, September 5th it’s the first day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and you can count with big names on the first day, like at 10 am we have BCBGMAXAZRIA on the Theatre, at 3 pm Desigual on the Theatre and at 6 pm the Art Institute of New York City on the Stage, and much others that are worth it to watch.

And if you, like me are in Paris or surroundings, don’t forget to appear on the big fashion night out. Vogue Paris Fashion Night Out, 17 September, Quartier Faubourg-Saint-Honoré, Rue Saint-Honoré, Rue Royale, Madeleine and Palais-Royal, and don’t forget your invitation, simply purchasing the september issue of Vogue Paris.

And if the summer is out, the 90´s are still in on the fashion trending for the next season, that’s right, influenced once again by a music movement, but this time prepare your wardrobe with big sweaters, leather jackets, skirts, and all the flannel shirts with all the doubtful graphics, because we all gonna give a big welcome to the grunge chic but like everything in the fashion industry with a modern twist and actual fashion sense.
And to let you in good hands we let you with the editorial of this month issue of Vogue Paris, realised by Emmanuel Alt, Joe Mckenna and Katy England, and shooted by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggot, here’s the Grunge Fever editorial (La fièvre Grunge) featuring Saskia de Brauw, Karen Elson, Suvi Koponen, Sky Ferreira, Vivien Solari, Andreea Diaconu, Gisele Bundchen and Sam Rollinson.
